Fall Maple Pecan Baked Brie Recipe Easy Gooey Center Your Family Will Crave

  • Author: SALY
  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings 1x

Description

A warm, comforting baked brie appetizer featuring sweet maple syrup, crunchy toasted pecans, and a gooey cheese center, perfect for fall gatherings and cozy nights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 wheel Brie cheese (8 ounces / 225g) with rind intact
  • 3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • ½ cup pecans (60g), roughly chopped
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped (optional)
  • Crackers or sliced baguette for serving
  • Optional: dried cranberries or sliced apples for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Toss pecans with brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl until evenly coated.
  2. Spread pecans on a parchment-lined baking sheet and toast for 5-7 minutes, stirring halfway through. Set aside to cool.
  3. Place the brie wheel on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Score the top in a crisscross pattern about ¼ inch deep.
  4. Drizzle 2 tablespoons of maple syrup evenly over the brie. Sprinkle toasted pecans on top, pressing gently into the syrup. Scatter fresh thyme if using.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until cheese is soft and starting to ooze, and pecans are golden.
  6. Remove from oven and immediately drizzle remaining 1 tablespoon maple syrup over the top. Let rest for 1 minute.
  7. Serve warm with sliced baguette, crackers, or fresh apple slices.

Notes

Watch the oven closely after 12 minutes to avoid overcooking. Scoring the brie helps it melt evenly. Toast pecans separately for best crunch. Use real maple syrup for best flavor and caramelization. Serve immediately for gooey texture. Reheat leftovers gently at 300°F for 5-7 minutes. Avoid microwaving to prevent rubbery cheese.
