Description
A quick, creamy, and naturally sweet tropical smoothie made with just five simple ingredients. Perfect for breakfast, post-workout, or a refreshing snack.
Ingredients
- 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks (about 150g)
- 1/2 cup canned full-fat coconut milk (about 120ml)
- 1 medium ripe banana (about 120g)
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, about 15ml)
- 1/2 cup ice cubes (about 4–5 cubes)
Instructions
- Peel and slice the banana. Measure out the frozen pineapple chunks, coconut milk, honey, and ice cubes.
- Add pineapple, banana, coconut milk, and honey to a blender. Blend on high for about 30 seconds until smooth and creamy. Add more coconut milk if too thick.
- Add ice cubes and blend again until frothy and cold with a thick but drinkable texture.
- Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more honey or maple syrup if desired. Add more coconut milk or water if too thick and blend again.
- Pour into a glass or travel cup and serve immediately. Garnish with a pineapple wedge or shredded coconut if desired.
Notes
Use frozen pineapple for a creamy, frosty texture without watering down the smoothie. Use canned full-fat coconut milk for richness, not carton coconut milk. Adjust sweetness last. Blend fruit and liquid first, then add ice for best texture. Store leftovers in fridge up to 24 hours and shake before drinking. Avoid freezing.
